How was the merged Board of Trustees selected?

As part of the Merge Agreement between both Legacy organizations, 3 trustees from each legacy program were appointed to the new Board of Trustees. We are now out of the two year merger window and the board is now a single entity.

How was the name Duke - Raiders selected?

It was a neutral name that was agreed upon by both legacy Dukes and Junior Raiders boards.

Is Pop Warner the only league we participate in?

No, based on the sport program we play in a number of organized leagues including Pop Warner. The directors of each sport will make recommendations and the Board of Trustees will review.

Who is Hillsborough Youth Sports?

Hillsborough Youth Sports is the merged Dukes & Junior Raiders organization. Hillsborough Youth Sports is the trade (DBA) name used for administration of our sport programs. Hillsborough JR Raiders Sports, Inc. remains the legal entity under the merged organizations.

Is there any impact on sports beyond Football and Cheer?

There is no impact on the other sports. They are business as usual.

What will happen regarding the history of both legacy organizations?

The history of both legacy football and cheer programs will be memorialized on the website.
